Degree Exemplification on January 27th

Worthy Matron Carolyn with Worthy Patron Herb conducted a practice exemplification of our beautiful degrees.  The lodge room was almost warm, but the company we had with one another was glowing and warm, indeed.  The meeting was well attended and a great way to start the 2017 calendar year at Byington Chapter.  That was our fourth exemplification for this Star year.

Next meeting is February 10th.  We hope to see all our local Byington members and that the roads are safe and dry.

No Meeting on Friday the 13th!

An Ice Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill, MO on January 12, 2017 and does not expire until January 16, 2017.  This is the Friday afternoon forecast.

No Meeting  1/13

A scary weather pattern is descending on the Kansas City metropolitan area that is set to start icing the area beginning Friday afternoon, January 13, 2017.  As a precaution, our Worthy Matron has heeded the National Weather Service’s forecast and urges our members to stay off the roads and avoid walking outside starting Friday afternoon.  Hunker down.  Open the bag of cheese puffs. And marvel at all the die-hard fans who are headed to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

Friday Afternoon/Evening:  Light icing begins across southern and central Missouri.  The area of freezing rain will move north through the day.
